Half the world is probably I, does that mean they don't have that extra edge? I highly doubt it. Yes it is related to personality but I highly doubt it is directly related to whether you are an E or an I. I also am not as attracted to those that pull out of things easily, those that don't give it their all. I love giving it my all in sports, and I feel that I cope well with pressure and always want to win every single competition. But does that mean an introvert have no mental toughness, no concentration, no drive, no motivation? That is the most mis-informed statement ever. I am an I myself, like a very high percentage I in the tests that I have taken. MBTI may have something to do with one's mentality but this blanket type statement is just wrong. In any company with more then 50 people however, where you just can't overthrow the personell within a year or two, he would be done.Ĭlick to expand.I disagree full-heartedly. In football it's possible to surround yourself with only E people, because you only need 20 of them (very costly though, as can be seen currently). I am E myself, and i get pissed of by "I" people, so i can understand where Mourinho is coming from, but some education in leadership competencies and some adaptability would not hurt him. In the economy you would be fired immediately if you could only handle half of your staff. Mourinho can only act unprofessional like that (yes, it's unprofessional!), because of his name, because of the existing structures in football.

A manager in any business, not only football, not only sports, has to learn to handle different personalities then himself as well.

He is saying he is an "E" after MBTI logic, and he can only handle "E" players, which makes up roughly half of all footballers.
